Equality and Diversity
We are commited to promoting equal opportunities through our policy and strategy, in providing equal access to all our services and to making sure people have equal opportunities in getting jobs and in career development.
Below are a number of documents which demonstrate our commitment to equality and diversity. Here you’ll find our values, which all our staff are made aware of and encouraged to work to in their daily practices, our Disability and Race Equality Schemes and some of our employment policies which strive for the equal treatment of all our employees, as well as some which are concerned with supporting cultural differences.
These policies and value statements are underpinned by practical training for all our staff, for whom Equality and Diversity training is now compulsory. We also have a dedicated network of harassment advisors throughout the Trust who are trained members of our workforce who act as a source of understanding and practical support to any individual in the organisation who may feel they are being treated unfairlry or inappropriatley.
This website has been produced inline with disability guideance and one click of a button will enable you to view the text in large print, however we can also provide any of our recruitment material as an audio tape or CD for people for anyone with visual impairment. Please don’t hesitate to contact the Staff Services Team on 01934 647123 who will arrange this promptly for you.
