As a member of the medical team you will have excellent opportunities for medical teaching and with our North Somerset Academy which is within the hospital grounds, we are able to offer a library which is open 24hrs to staff including references books and computers with internet connections. Both our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical Centres offer regular teaching for the junior doctors and also provides the opportunity for all clinical staff to be involved in this teaching and the development and co ordination of the programmes. Onsite Foundation programme managers and Clinical Deans’ enhance the opportunities available for medical teaching.

Our current junior doctors training posts amount to 19 Foundation 1’s, 18 Foundation 2’s, 6 GPVTS, 6 Trust posts and 38 ST / SpR who are able to gain the required experience in their choice of speciality and be closely mentored by a designated educational supervisor.
