Facilities

The new purpose built Academy opened in 2004 as a dedicated training and educational establishment.

The facilities consist of a number of rooms seating between 10 – 22 people, fully equipped with all the technology necessary for supporting presentations, meetings and training events. A fully equipped Lecture Theatre which seats up to 130 people provide a professional setting for the many speakers who attend the Trust to assist our educational programmes and is regularly used by managers for briefings and team training or workshop events. Three clinical skills rooms, equipped to represent the patients environment make a quality setting for the delivery of our many clinical programmes.

Piers café is a comfortable café area boasts comfortable sofas and vending machines providing an excellent facility for informal meetings, lunches or simply as a comfortable meeting place.
